A panel discussion was held before the awards ceremony to give a perspective on the concept of ‘disruption’ created by brands and its significance in the market. Disruptor of the Year in the Automobile category was given to Hero MotoCorp for their campaign ‘Feel the Josh’ and Disruptor of the Year in CSR category was awarded to Hindustan Unilever for their campaign ‘Haath Munh Bum’. Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad launched Disha mobile app which aims to spread digital literacy through self – learning modules. The app is free and is available on Google Play Store. A handbook having pictographic lessons prepared by Common Service Centres will also be released. The book has been designed to ensure that anyone with little or no digital literacy can also learn using this book. » Facebook is looking to tap the rising enthusiasm of the Indian online shoppers by launching a shopping festival named ‘Tied Together’ on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The plan involves setting up a website in association with media agency conglomerate GroupM between August 12 and August 29.
